It doesn’t get more luxurious than our Hawaii Villa Hale ‘O KaLa. The secluded five-bedroom estate offers the perfect balance between the surrounding natural environment and the luxuries of private resort-style paradise vacations. Hawaii is known for its year-round tropical climate, with the Big Island one of the most beautifully unspoiled of all the islands. Awaiting your arrival are the crystal-clear waters of the swimming pool with a refreshing welcome cocktail at the swim-up palapa bar. Ease tired muscles from the flight over in the hot tub fringed by a waterfall grotto. When you’ve had enough of the outdoors, retire to the luxe master suite for ultimate indoor/outdoor living with his and her waterfall sinks, a jetted rock tub, and a walk-in rock shower with a miniature waterfall. Uniquely designed to echo the natural and open atmosphere of Hawaii, every detail of the villa has been carefully crafted to facilitate relaxation and tranquility.

THE VILLA

Hale ‘O Ka La on the Big Island offers the quintessential Hawaiian vacation rental. Developed by Laurance S. Rockefeller in the mid-1960s, Mauna Kea was Kohala coast’s first luxury resort property and has defined Hawaiian luxury living ever since.

The expansive property features a stunning spiral staircase and has five bedrooms, five bathrooms, and two half bathrooms in the 5,358 square foot estate. All bedrooms have air conditioning except for the garden room. The luxury villa comfortably sleeps between eight and 12 people, and families with children will find the calm Hapuna waters ideal for casual dips in the ocean.

Luxe Island Living

Pristine and lush tropical flora, palms, heliconia, and plumeria surround the landscape along with numerous water features peppered throughout, making this the perfect property to experience the seamlessness of indoor-outdoor living in an accommodating climate. Outdoor features include a swimming pool, palapa bar, and waterfall grotto with encased jacuzzi.

Surrounded by lush flowering landscapes and large decks to relax on, Destinations in Paradise vacations Hawaii wouldn’t be complete without full-service cleaning and private chefs available to cater to your family or small gatherings hosted in the ample indoor-outdoor great room. Located within walking distance to quiet semi-private beaches, you have full access to the Mauna Kea resort and its facilities, which include a spa and tennis club, shopping, and concierge services, plus two world-class restaurants.

The Hale ‘O KaLa vacation rental mixes the best of both worlds with private and secluded accommodations. Away from the tourist bustle, this property offers a serene place to relax. Despite its seclusion, it’s within a short driving distance to busy Kona and all its attractions, as well as to breathtaking Volcano National Park.
